Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has questioned the event organized by the state government in the name of education policy. He said that education standards have been plummeting continuously in Haryana since the BJP government came to power.

“Instead of opening new schools, the government closed more than 1000 schools. In 7 years, the government did not take out a single post for JBT recruitment. Instead of giving jobs, the present government has been snatching the jobs of PTI and drawing teachers. Instead of recruiting, the government has done the work of cancelling the recruitments like PGT Sanskrit, TGT English,” the former Chief Minister remarked.
Hooda said about 50,000 posts are lying vacant in the education department today due to this attitude of the government. “The government only talks about education and the fact is that 50% of the schools in the state do not even have a head teacher. In such a situation, it is only unfortunate that the BJP-JJP government is celebrating the new education policy,” he said.
भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने याद दिलाया कि कांग्रेस सरकार के समय हरियाणा विश्व मानचित्र पर शिक्षा के हब के रूप में उभर रहा था। कांग्रेस सरकार के दौरान प्रदेश में एक केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय, 7 राजकीय विश्वविद्यालय, 23 डीम्ड विश्वविद्यालय, 35 राजकीय महाविद्यालय, 481 तकनीकी संस्थान, 6 मेडिकल कॉलेज, 132 औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान, 2623 स्कूलों की स्थापना करने का कार्य हुआ। इस दौरान राजीव गांधी एजुकेशन सिटी जैसी परियोजनाओं की स्थापना हुई। जिसके चलते पूरे भारत ही नहीं, दूसरे देशों के विद्यार्थी भी यहां शिक्षा प्राप्त करने के लिये आने लगे।
हुड्डा ने कहा कि उनकी सरकार के दौरान ऑल इंडिया इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ मेडिकल साइंसेज, राष्ट्रीय कैंसर संस्थान, आईआईटी दिल्ली का विस्तार परिसर, आईआईएम, देश का दूसरा राष्ट्रीय डिजाइन संस्थान, केंद्रीय प्लास्टिक इंजीनियरिंग एवं प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, आईआईआईटी एवं निफ़्टम, राष्ट्रीय फैशन प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, विश्व का पहला ग्लोबल सेंटर फॉर न्यूक्लियर एनर्जी पार्टनरशिप जैसे दुनिया के प्रतिष्ठित संस्थान हरियाणा में आए।
हुड्डा ने कहा कि शिक्षा के आधारभूत ढांचे को मजबूती देकर उनकी सरकार ने हरियाणा के उज्जवल भविष्य की नींव रखी थी। लेकिन बीजेपी सरकार के 7 साल में एक भी ऐसी परियोजना या संस्थान हरियाणा में नहीं आया। इसके विपरीत, मौजूदा सरकार में कांग्रेस सरकार के दौरान मंजूरशुदा संस्थानों के काम को लटकाने और कैंसिल करवाने का काम हुआ। कांग्रेस सरकार के दौरान ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में शिक्षा के स्तर को सुधारने के लिए शुरू हुए किसान मॉडल स्कूलों को बीजेपी सरकार ने बंद ही कर दिया।
इतना ही नहीं, बीजेपी सरकार ने कांग्रेस सरकार के दौरान शुरू किए गए आरोही स्कूलों को भी बंद होने की कगार पर पहुंचा दिया है। ऐसे में नयी शिक्षा नीति का ढिंढोरा पीटना महज इवेंटबाजी है। बिना शिक्षा के आधारभूत ढांचे को मजबूत किए शिक्षा का स्तर नहीं बढ़ाया जा सकता। खुद भारत सरकार के नीति आयोग की ताज़ा SDG रिपोर्ट बताती है कि हरियाणा शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में पड़ोसी राज्यों से पिछड़ गया है।
“In such a situation, slogans of the new education policy are only part of
the event management plan of the BJP. The standard of education cannot be
raised without strengthening the basic infrastructure of education. The NITI
Aayog report itself shows that Haryana has lagged behind the neighboring states
in the field of education,” Hooda said.
