नेशनल डेक्स NEWS। ओलंपिक में गोल्ड जीतने के बाद देश लौटे गोल्डेन बॉय नीरज चोपड़ा का दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट पर भव्य स्वागत हुआ। उन्होंने देशवासियों का शुक्रिया अदा किया और कहा कि मेडल जीतना आगे भी जारी रखेंगे। नीरज चोपड़ा ने कहा कि मेडल जीतकर बहुत अच्छा लग रहा है और सभी खिलाड़ियों का इसी तरह का प्रेम मिलना चाहिए।  उन्होंने कहा कि हम और ज्यादा मेहनत करेंगे और देश के लिए और मेडल जीतकर लाएंगे। नीरज ने कहा कि अगला ओलंपिक और आने वाले गेम्स में हम इससे बेहतर प्रदर्शन करेंगे। गौरतलब है कि टोक्यो ओलंपिक के भाला फेंक प्रतियोगिता में नीरज चोपड़ा ने भारत को गोल्ड दिलाया। एथेलेटिक्स प्रतियोगिता में गोल्ड जीतने वाले नीरज चोपड़ा पहले भारतीय हैं।

Neeraj Chopra, India's new 'Golden Boy', returned to Delhi on Monday from Tokyo and was greeted by a huge crowd. Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal in men's javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics, and the history-maker was accorded a grand welcome at the Indira Gandhi Airport in the the capital. The Athletics Federation of India shared a video of Neeraj Chopra's "grand entry". "That's the great Grand entry of #India's first track & field #Olympics Champion #NeerajChopra," AFI tweeted.
