सर्वेक्षण के परिणाम कलेसर राष्ट्रीय
उद्यान और वन्यजीव अभयारण्य के वनस्पति और जीव-जंतुओं के संरक्षण के लिए एक
प्रभावी प्रबंधन रणनीति तैयार करने में मदद करेंगे। यह क्षेत्र की पारिस्थितिकी पर
वास की अव्यवस्था और जलवायु परिवर्तन के प्रभाव को देखने का आधार भी बनेगा।
The outcome of the survey will help in formulating an effective management strategy for the conservation of funga, flora and fauna of Kalesar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. This will also form the basis for observing the impact of habitat disturbance and climate change on the ecology of the region.
Sharing information in this regard, an official spokesperson of the Haryana Forest Department said that the Survey will be conducted under the overall guidance of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), Haryana and Dr. N. S. K. Harsh- a renowned mycologist- in which the fungal and mushroom diversity of Kalesar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary will be assessed.
Highlighting the necessity of such a Survey the spokesperson said that trees, shrubs, climbers and herbs would not be able to live on land without fungi. They are an integral part of food chain of many insects and other organisms. The fungi and mushrooms are an inseparable part of a healthy ecosystem. He elaborated that a number of fungi species (mushrooms) are edible and moreover mushrooms are the only vegetarian source of vitamin D. Also, Wild and the International Union for Conservation of Nature Species Survival Commission became first global organization to call for the recognition of fungi as one of three kingdoms of life critical to protecting and restoring Earth " fauna, flora and funga” — which are critical to all life on Earth and to be integrated into conservation strategies. Thus, the need to conduct such a Survey was identified.
Divulging details the spokesperson said that the focus of the Survey will be on mushrooms, however, the survey will also be conducted for butterflies, spiders, amphibians, fish, reptiles, birds and mammalian diversity and various aspects related to their conservation
He further said that fifteen scientists (having expertise in various fields like fungi, insects, soil, climate change, botany, plant physiology etc.) from forest research institutes, Dehradun, ten scientists (having expertise in various fields like beetles, butterflies, bees, pollinators, fireflies, bumble bees, mammals, birds and reptiles) from wildlife institute of India, Dehradun, professors and biology students from various colleges of Yamunanagar, nature NGOs, bird lovers and officials of Haryana Forest Department will participate in a day long survey to explore the rich diversity of funga, flora and fauna of Kalesar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, he said.
It is worth mentioning that Kalesar National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary is a well protected and well managed protected area and harbours rich diversity of various life forms

इस संबंध में जानकारी सांझा करते हुए
हरियाणा वन विभाग के एक प्रवक्ता ने कहा कि यह सर्वेक्षण हरियाणा के प्रधान मुख्य
वन संरक्षक (वन्यजीव) और डॉ. एनएसके हर्ष- एक प्रसिद्ध माइकोलॉजिस्ट- के समग्र
मार्गदर्शन में किया जाएगा, जिसमें कालेसर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान और वन्यजीव अभयारण्य के जीव-जंतुओं
और मशरूम विविधता का आंकलन किया जाएगा।
सर्वेक्षण की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश
डालते हुए प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि पेड़, झाडिय़ाँ, लताएं और
जड़ी-बूटियाँ बिना फफूंद के भूमि पर नहीं रह सकतीं। वे कई कीड़ों और अन्य जीवों की
खाद्य श्रृंखला का एक अभिन्न अंग हैं। फफूंद और मशरूम एक स्वस्थ पारिस्थितिकी
तंत्र का एक अविभाज्य अंग हैं। उन्होंने विस्तार से बताया कि कई फफूंद प्रजातियां
(मशरूम) खाने योग्य हैं और इसके अलावा मशरूम विटामिन-डी का एकमात्र शाकाहारी स्रोत
हैं।
उन्होंने बताया कि प्रकृति प्रजातियों
के संरक्षण के लिए वाइल्ड एंड द इंटरनेशनल यूनियन फॉर कंजर्वेशन ऑफ नेचर स्पीशीज
सर्वाइवल कमीशन पहला वैश्विक संगठन बना है जिसने पृथ्वी की रक्षा और पुनस्र्थापना
के लिए जीवन के तीन महत्वपूर्ण घटकों में वनस्पति और जीव और कवक को एक घटक
के रूप में मान्यता का आह्वान किया है ताकि "जीव, वनस्पति और
कवक" - जो पृथ्वी पर सभी के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं को संरक्षण रणनीतियों में
एकीकृत किया जा सके। इसलिए इस तरह के सर्वेक्षण करने की आवश्यकता की पहचान की गई
है।
विवरण देते हुए प्रवक्ता ने कहा कि
सर्वेक्षण का मुख्य फोकस मशरूम पर होगा। इसके अलावा, तितलियों, मकडिय़ों, उभयचर, मछली, सरीसृप, पक्षियों और
स्तनधारी विविधता और उनके संरक्षण से संबंधित विभिन्न पहलुओं के लिए भी सर्वेक्षण
किया जाएगा।
उन्होंने बताया कि कलेसर राष्ट्रीय
उद्यान और वन्यजीव अभयारण्य के कवक, वनस्पतियों और जीवों की विविधता के एक
दिन के सर्वेक्षण में वन अनुसंधान संस्थान, देहरादून के पंद्रह वैज्ञानिक (कवक, कीड़े, मिट्टी, जलवायु परिवर्तन, वनस्पति विज्ञान, प्लांट फिजियालोजी
आदि जैसे विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में विशेषज्ञता रखने वाले), भारतीय वन्यजीव
संस्थान, देहरादून से दस वैज्ञानिक (भृंग, तितलियों, मधुमक्खियों, मधुमक्खियों, जुगनू जैसे विभिन्न
क्षेत्रों में विशेषज्ञता रखने वाले) यमुनानगर के विभिन्न कॉलेजों के प्रोफेसर और
जीव विज्ञान के छात्र, प्रकृति गैर सरकारी संगठन, पक्षी प्रेमी और हरियाणा वन विभाग के
अधिकारी भाग लेंगे।
यह उल्लेखनीय है कि कलेसर राष्ट्रीय
उद्यान और वन्यजीव अभयारण्य अच्छी तरह से संरक्षित और प्रबंधित क्षेत्र है जो
विभिन्न जीवन रूपों को एक समृद्ध विविधता का आश्रय देता है।
