एवं पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि प्रदेश की भाजपा-जजपा गठबंधन
सरकार को केंद्र सरकार से बात करनी चाहिए और सेना में भर्ती आयोजित करवाने को लेकर
सड़कों पर उतर रहे युवाओं की मांग से अवगत कराना चाहिए। बेरोजगारी में नंबर वन बने
हरियाणा की हालत में सेना की खुली भर्ती से न केवल सुधार होगा, बल्कि सेना में जाने का
युवाओं का सपना भी साकार होगा। प्रदेश सरकार को केंद्र से हरियाणा के लिए सेना की
खुली भर्ती का आयोजन जल्द करने के साथ ही भर्ती बंद होने से ओवरएज हुए युवाओं को
भी मौका देने की मांग करनी चाहिए।
सैलजा ने कहा कि सेंटर फॉर मानिटरिंग ऑफ इंडियन इकोनॉमी (सीएमआईई) की ताजा रिपोर्ट के अनुसार हरियाणा में बेरोजगारी की दर अन्य राज्यों के मुकाबले सर्वाधिक 34.5 प्रतिशत हो चुकी है। सेना की भर्ती में ओवरएज होने से भिवानी जिले के पवन नाम के युवक ने आत्महत्या कर ली। यह बेहद ही दुखद घटना थी। आज प्रदेश के युवा हताश और निराश हैं। प्रदेश के युवा सेना में भर्ती की मांग को लेकर सड़कों पर उतर रहे हैं।
पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि इस तरह से युवाओं का सड़क पर उतरना साफ-साफ बताता है कि प्रदेश में रोजगार न होने से युवाओं के सामने किस तरह की स्थिति खड़ी हो रही है। युवा वर्ग जान चुका है कि उसे तमाम ऐसी बातों में उलझाकर रखने की साजिश रची जा रही हैं, जिनसे उनका कोई लेना-देना नहीं है, ताकि वे रोजगार न मांग सकें।
कहा कि हरियाणवियों का सैन्य बलों में अहम स्थान है। प्रदेश के अनेक वीरों ने देश की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्राणों को न्यौछावर किया है। इनसे प्रेरणा लेते हुए ही आज लाखों युवा सेना में जाने को आतुर हैं। लेकिन, प्रदेश व केंद्र सरकार इनकी भावनाओं को समझने में नाकाम है।
पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि बेरोजगारी के मामले में भाजपा-जजपा गठबंधन सरकार की गलत नीतियों के वजह से यहां के पढ़े-लिखे होनहार युवाओं को रोजगार नहीं मिला है। लगातार दो साल देश में बेरोजगारी के नंबर वन का स्थान हासिल करने के बाद भी प्रदेश सरकार कोई सबक लेने को तैयार नहीं है। पिछले दो साल के अंदर प्रदेश में न के बराबर ही सरकारी नौकरी दी गई हैं। नई नौकरी तो मिलना दूर जो भर्तियां चल रही हैं, उनका कभी पेपर लीक हो जाता है तो कभी कोर्ट में केस के कारण अटक जाती हैं और कितनी ही बार प्रदेश सरकार खुद ही भर्तियों को रद्द कर देती है।
Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Kumari Selja said that the BJP-JJP alliance government of the state should talk to the central government and apprise about the demand of the youth, who were protesting on streets for conducting recruitment of the army. In view of Haryana becoming number one in terms of unemployment, conducting open recruitment of the army will not only improve the situation, but the dream of youth to join the Indian army will also come true. The state government should demand from the center government to organize open recruitment of army for Haryana as soon as possible and also give opportunity to the youth who have been overaged due to the closure of recruitment.
In a statement issued to the media, Kumari Selja said that according to the latest report of the Center for Monitoring of Indian Economy (CMIE), the unemployment rate in Haryana had been the highest at 34.5 percent as compared to other states. Due to overage for army recruitment, a youth named Pawan of Bhiwani district committed suicide, which was a very sad incident. Today, the youth of Haryana were frustrated and disappointed. They were protesting on the streets demanding recruitment in the army, she added.
The former Union Minister said that the way youth had been protesting on road clearly shows what kind of situation was being faced by the youth due to lack of employment in the state. The youth had come to know that a conspiracy was being hatched to keep them entangled in all such things, which had nothing to do with them, so that they cannot ask for employment.
Kumari Selja said that Haryanvis have an important place in the armed forces. Many heroes of the state had laid down their lives to protect the country. Taking inspiration from them, today lakhs of youth were eager to join the army. But, the state and central government had failed to understand their sentiments, said Kumari Selja.
The former Union Minister said that due to the wrong policies of the BJP-JJP alliance government in case of unemployment, the bright educated youth in the state had not got employment. Even after achieving the number one position in terms of unemployment in the country for two consecutive years, the state government was not ready to learn any lesson. Within the last two years, very few government jobs had been given in the state. Far from getting a new job, sometimes paper gets leaked, sometimes recruitment get stuck due to court case and many times the state government itself cancelled the recruitments, added Kumari Selja.
