भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने नगर पालिका और नगर परिषद चुनाव में जीत हासिल करने वाले
सभी उम्मीदवारों को बधाई दी है। उन्होंने हार का सामना करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को
भी भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएं देकर जनता के हित में काम करने को कहा। हुड्डा का
कहना है कि कांग्रेस पार्टी हालांकि इस चुनाव से अलग रही परन्तु, पार्टी के स्थानीय नेताओं
ने अपने-अपने इलाके में निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार को अपना समर्थन दिया था।
चेयरमैन की एक-एक सीट पर कहीं-कहीं चार से पांच स्थानीय कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ता भी चुनाव लड़ रहे थे। 46 नगरपालिका और नगर परिषद सीटों में से लगभग 19 जगहों पर इन आजाद उम्मीदवारों ने जीत दर्ज की है।
30 जगह करीबी मुकाबले में वे दूसरे स्थान पर
रहे। जहाँ तक वोट शेयर की बात है तो आज़ाद उम्मीदवारों ने शहरों में भाजपा को मिले 26.3 प्रतिशत वोट के मुकाबले
दोगुने यानी 52.2
प्रतिशत वोट हासिल किये। इससे लगता है शहरी जनता ने भी बिलकुल बीजेपी को नकार दिया
है।
हुड्डा का कहना है कि इस चुनाव में मैदान साफ़ होने के बावजूद बीजेपी-जेजेपी गठबंधन जनता का विश्वास हासिल करने में पूरी तरह नाकाम हुई है। चुनावों में जनता ने बीजेपी-जेजेपी गठबंधन को नकार दिया है।
बड़ी तादाद में निर्दलीय उम्मीदवारों की जीत और उन्हें मिला वोट शेयर बताता है कि मौजूदा सरकार और सरकार की कार्यप्रणाली से जनता बुरी तरह नाराज़ है और अपनी नाराजगी को वोट के माध्यम से जनता ने स्पष्ट कर दिया है। अब हरियाणा की जनता बेसब्री से विधानसभा व लोकसभा चुनावों का इंतजार कर रही है ताकि वोट की चोट से बीजेपी-जेजेपी सरकार को सबक सिखाया जा सके।
Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has stated that the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party has lost support even among urban areas as he congratulated all the candidates who have won the Municipality and Municipal Council elections. He also gave best wishes for the future to the candidates who are facing defeat and asked them to work in the interest of the public.
Hooda said although
the Congress party stayed away from this election, local party leaders had
extended their support to the independent candidate in their respective areas.
“There were places where four to five local Congress workers were also
contesting for each seat of the chairman. These independent candidates have won
about 19 seats out of 46 municipal and municipal council seats and finished
second in 30 places in close contests,” he said.
The former Haryana
Chief Minister stated that ruling BJP has lost support even among the urban
areas where the claim to be strong. “As far as the vote share is concerned, the
independent candidates secured double the votes, 52.2 per cent votes against
the BJP's 26.3 per cent votes in the cities,” he said.
Hooda said despite
clear ground in this election because the Congress stayed away from the
election, the BJP-JJP alliance has completely failed to win the trust of the
people. “People have rejected the BJP-JJP alliance in the elections,” he said.
“The victory of a
large number of independent candidates and the vote share they got shows that
the people are deeply angry with the performance of the current government and
the public has made their displeasure clear through the vote. Now the people of
Haryana are eagerly waiting for the assembly and Lok Sabha elections so that
the BJP-JJP government can be taught a lesson by the power of their vote,” he
added.
Hooda called upon
the winners of the Municipal elections to work keeping in mind the public
interest. “At the local level, people are facing many problems related to poor
condition of roads, streets, sewerage, drinking water and sanitation. The first
responsibility of the elected representatives is to solve these problems of the
people,” he stated.
भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने नगर पालिका व नगर परिषद चुनाव विजेताओं से आह्वान किया कि वो जनहित को ध्यान में रखते हुए कार्य करें। स्थानीय स्तर पर लोग सड़क, गलियों की खस्ता हालत, सीवरेज, पीने का पानी, साफ-सफाई से संबंधित अनेकों समस्याओं का सामना कर रहे हैं। इन समस्याओं का समाधान करना चुने हुए प्रतिनिधियों की सबसे पहली जिम्मेदारी है।
