Chandigarh- Dushyant Chautala: केंद्र सरकार ने एम्बुलेंस पर लगे टैक्स को कम करके 12 प्रतिशत किया

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala today said the Centre had reduced the existing 28 per cent tax on ambulances to 12 per cent.

      चंडीगढ़ / हरियाणा के उपमुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला ने बताया कि केंद्र सरकार ने एम्बुलेंस पर        पहले से लगे 28 प्रतिशत टैक्स को कम करके 12 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया है, इसकी उन्होंने          जीएसटी काऊंसिल से मांग की थी।

Taking to Twitter, Chautala expressed his gratitude and wrote, "Attended the 44th GST Council meeting today. My gratitude to the entire Council for accepting Haryana's request to extend all Covid related benefits upto 30/09/21 and reducing the tax rate on Gas/Electric/other furnaces for crematorium, including their installation etc. to 5 per cent.

डिप्टी सीएम, जिनके पास आबकारी एवं कराधान विभाग का प्रभार भी है, ने आज यह जानकारी वीडियो कान्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री श्रीमती निर्मला सीता रमण की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित जीएसटी काऊंसिल की बैठक में हिस्सा लेने के बाद दी।

The Deputy Chief Minister also said that the GST Council has accepted all the suggestions of the six-member committee of 'Group of Ministers' which was constituted to determine the GST on Covid-related items. "The state of Haryana had given two suggestions, firstly in relation to extending the time limit for exemption of GST rate on Covid goods and secondly to reduce the existing tax on electric crematoriums," read the statement.

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि कोविड से सम्बंधित वस्तुओं पर जीएसटी निर्धारित करने के लिए बनाई गई ‘ग्रुप ऑफ मिनिस्टर्स’ की छह सदस्यीय कमेटी के सभी सुझाव को जीएसटी काउंसलि ने स्वीकार किया है। हरियाणा की ओर से दो सुझाव दिए गए थे, जिनमें कोविड वस्तुओं पर जीएसटी रेट की छूट की समय-सीमा बढ़ाने व विद्युत शवदाहगृह पर मौजूदा टैक्स को कम करने के संबंध में थे।

He further informed that as suggested by the state, the exemption limit on GST was increased from August 31 to September 30. Moreover, the second suggestion with regard to the existing tax on electric crematorium, the tax has been reduced to 5 per cent.

उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि प्रदेश की ओर से रखे गए सुझाव के तहत जीएसटी पर छूट की सीमा 31 अगस्त से बढ़ाकर 30 सितंबर तक कर दिया गया। साथ ही प्रदेश के सुझाव पर विद्युत शवदागृह पर मौजूदा टैक्स को कम करते हुए उसे 5 प्रतिशत कर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि एंबुलेंस मौजूदा समय में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं का प्रमुख हिस्सा है, इसी को ध्यान में रखते हुए जीएसटी काऊंसिल ने एम्बुलेंस पर जो पहले 28 प्रतिशत टैक्स लगता था उसे कम करते हुए 12 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया है। इसी प्रकार तापमान मापक यंत्र पर भी टैक्स घटाकर 5 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया है।

दुष्यंत चैटाला ने कहा कि पूरे देश में एक समान टैक्स प्रणाली से कोविड से सम्बंधित वस्तुओं पर टैक्स कम किए जाने से महामारी से निपटने में मदद मिलेगी।

 As per the media bulletin on Covid-19, Haryana reported 539 fresh cases, 1,221 recoveries, and 32 deaths on Saturday. There are 6,365 active Covid-19 cases in the state.
