Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed hope that team India would bring in many more medals in the Tokyo Olympics. He once again congratulated all the players of the country and the state.

चंडीगढ़ NEWS। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने ओलंपिक में कई पदक आने की उम्मीद जताई है। उन्होंने एकबार फिर देश और प्रदेश के तमाम खिलाड़ियों को शुभकामनाएं दी हैं। हुड्डा का कहना है कि ओलंपिक में हिस्सा लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों में सबसे बड़ा दल हरियाणा का है। यह गर्व की बात है कि भारतीय दल में प्रदेश के 31 खिलाड़ी और उनके कोच खेलों के सबसे बड़े कुंभ में शामिल हैं। भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि शुरुआत से ही उनका खेलों के प्रति गहरा लगाव रहा है। इसलिए मुख्यमंत्री रहते हुए उन्होंने खेल और खिलाड़ियों को बढ़ावा दिया साथ ही खिलाडियों के हित में ऐसी खेल नीति बनाई जो बरसों बरस तक खेल प्रतिभाओं को आगे बढ़ाने में मददगार साबित होगी।

Hooda said Haryana has the largest contingent of players participating in the Olympics. “It is a matter of pride for all of us that 31 players from the state have participated in the biggest festival of sports,” he said.

हुड्डा ने देश को पदक दिलाने वाली मीराबाई चानू और पीवी सिंधू को जीत की हार्दिक बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि हार और जीत खेल के दो पहलू हैं। इसलिए बॉक्सर सतीश कुमार और अमित पंघाल हार से निराश न हों। देश को उनकी प्रतिभा पर पूरा भरोसा है और उम्मीद है कि दोनों खिलाड़ी भविष्य में बेहतर प्रदर्शन करके इस हार की भरपाई जरुर करेंगे। इतने बड़े स्तर पर प्रतिभागी बनना भी अपने आप में एक बड़ी उपलब्धि है। इसलिए सरकार को ओलंपिक के पदक विजेता और प्रतिभागी खिलाड़ियों के सम्मान में कोई कोर-कसर नहीं छोड़नी चाहिए। सभी को उचित पद और इनाम राशि के साथ सम्मानित किया जाना चाहिए।

Hooda congratulated Mirabai Chanu and PV Sindhu, who won the medal for the country and said that victory & defeat are both a part of the game. “Boxers Satish Kumar and Amit Panghal  should not get discouraged by the defeat. The country has full faith in their talent and we expect that both the players will make up for this loss by performing better in future,” he said.

उन्होंने कहा कि देश और प्रदेश के खिलाड़ियों ने अब तक ओलंपिक में अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया है। अभी कई खेल प्रतियोगिताएं बाकी हैं, जिनमें देश को मेडल मिलने की उम्मीद है। खासतौर पर कुश्ती के आगामी मुकाबलों पर सभी की नजरें हैं। हरियाणा के खिलाड़ी कुश्ती में बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करते आए हैं। उम्मीद है कि सभी खिलाड़ी प्रतियोगिता में अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करेंगे। हुड्डा ने आने वाली स्पर्धाओं के लिए महिला हॉकी टीम और पहलवानों समेत सभी खिलाड़ियों को अपनी शुभकामनाएं दी हैं।

“Being a participant at the biggest sporting event of the world is also a big achievement in itself. The government should leave no stone unturned in honouring the medal winners and participating sportspersons of the Olympics. Everyone should be honored with proper position and prize money,” he added.
