चंडीगढ़ NEWS। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा है कि सरकार करनाल में हुए लाठीचार्ज की न्यायिक जांच करवाए। उन्होंने कहा कि लोकतंत्र को लठतंत्र में बदलने की इजाजत नहीं दी जा सकती। इस बात की जांच होनी चाहिए कि करनाल में अधिकारी, किस अधिकार के तहत पुलिसवालों को किसानों के सिर पर वार करने के आदेश दे रहे थे। क्योंकि ये पुलिस का अधिकार क्षेत्र है, ऐसे आदेश तो किसी भी परिस्थिति में कोई पुलिस अधिकारी भी नहीं दे सकता है। किसानों के सिर पर वार करने के आदेश किसके थे? ये जांच का विषय है।

Hooda, who was talking to reporters in Chandigarh, once again strongly condemned the brutality on farmers and reiterated that in a democracy everyone has the right to protest for their demands. “This right of the people cannot be taken away by those in power. The farmers were staging a sit-in at the Bastara toll plaza, about 15 km from the BJP's venue. But the police, adopting an autocratic and repressive policy, lathi-charged them,” he stated.

भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा चंडीगढ़ में पत्रकारों से बातचीत कर रहे थे इस मौके पर उन्होंने एकबार फिर किसानों पर हुई बर्बरता की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा की। उन्होंने दोहराया कि लोकतंत्र में सभी को अपनी मांगों के लिए धरना-प्रदर्शन करने का अधिकार है। जनता के इस अधिकार को सत्ता के ताकत से छीना नहीं जा सकता। किसान बीजेपी के कार्यक्रम स्थल से करीब 15 किलोमीटर दूर बसताड़ा टोल प्लाजा पर धरना दे रहे थे। लेकिन पुलिस ने निरंकुश और दमनकारी नीति अपनाते हुए उनके ऊपर लाठीचार्ज किया। हुड्डा ने कहा कि इस लाठीचार्ज के बाद ट्रॉमा से हार्ट अटैक होने के चलते घरौंडा के एक किसान की जान जाने की भी दुखद खबर आई है। बाकी पोस्टमार्टम से स्पष्ट होगा कि किन कारणों से किसान की मौत हुई। उन्होंने शहीद किसान के परिजनों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की और सरकार से परिजनों को उचित मुआवजा देने की मांग की।

Hooda said after this lathi charge there has also been sad news of loss of life of a farmer of Gharaunda due to heart attack due to trauma and said the post-mortem will tell us about what caused the farmer's death. He expressed condolences to the families of the martyred farmer and demanded the government to give proper compensation to the families.

The Leader of Opposition said like the Punjab government, the BJP-JJP government should also provide financial help and one government job each to the families of farmers who sacrificed their lives during the agitation. “If the present government does not do this, then this will be done when the Congress government is formed,” he promised.

नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि पंजाब सरकार की तरह बीजेपी-जेजेपी सरकार को भी आंदोलन के दौरान जान की कुर्बानी देने वाले किसानों के परिवारों को आर्थिक मदद और एक-एक सरकारी नौकरी देनी चाहिए। अगर मौजूदा सरकार ऐसा नहीं करती है तो कांग्रेस सरकार बनने पर यह कार्य किया जाएगा। भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि सरकार की बेदर्दी के चलते अब तक करीब 600 आंदोलनकारियों की जानें जा चुकी हैं। सरकार को यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि वो भविष्य में किसानों से टकराव के हालात पैदा नहीं करे। सरकार को संवेदनशीलता और सहानुभूति के साथ किसानों से संवाद स्थापित कर आंदोलन का जल्द से जल्द सकारात्मक समाधान निकालना चाहिए।

Hooda said about 600 agitators have lost their lives so far due to the brutality of the government. “The government should ensure that it does not create conflict situations with farmers in future. The government should communicate with the farmers sensitively and sympathetically and find a positive solution to the movement at the earliest,” he said.
