Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that all ranks of Haryana Police, besides family members of brave hearts will also be present on this occasion.
In the last one year, as many as 377 police personnel from other states police/Central Armed Police Forces and one from Haryana Police attained martyrdom in the line of duty across the country. So far, over 35000 police personnel have sacrificed their lives to maintain law and order, peace and security in the country, he added.
Observed on October 21 every year, the Police Commemoration Day remembers the sacrifices of 10 policemen who died in Chinese firing in 1959 at ‘Hot Springs’ at Ladakh.
गत वर्ष देशभर में कुल 𝟑𝟕𝟕 बहादुर व जांबाज पुलिस जवानों ने प्रदेश व देश की सुरक्षा और कानून व्यवस्था को बरकरार रखने के लिये अपने प्राण न्यौछावर किए। साथ ही हरियाणा पुलिस के एक जवान ने भी शहादत प्राप्त की। उन्होंने कहा कि अब तक 𝟑𝟓𝟎𝟎𝟎 से अधिक पुलिसकर्मियों ने देश में कानून व्यवस्था, शांति एवं सुरक्षा बनाए रखने के लिए कर्तव्य की वेदी पर अपने प्राणों का बलिदान दिया है।
𝟐𝟏 अक्तूबर 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟗 को हॉट स्प्रिंग, लद्दाख में चीनी सैनिकों के छल में फंसकर शहीद होने वाले 𝟏𝟎 पुलिसकर्मियों की याद में मनाया जाने वाले स्मृति दिवस पर देशभर में वीरगति को प्राप्त करने वाले पुलिसकर्मियों को श्रद्धांजलि दी जाएगी।
