This was stated today by the Governor of Haryana, Bandaru
Dattatraya while interacting with the
ambassadors, high commissioners and representatives of seven countries who came
to meet him at Raj Bhawan on Sunday. In this group of foreign delegations, High
Commissioner of Fiji, Kamlesh Shashi Prakash, High Commissioner of Papua New
Guinea, Paulias Carni Obe, General Councilor of the Union of Kormos, K. L.
Ganjoo, Burkina Faso's Head of Consular Affairs, Collibelli D. Herbe,
Principato D. Seborga (West Attica) Representative HV Jain, Egyptian Embassy representative,
Mustafa F. Sekhon and Nigeria's Mustafa Ebobkar Diori and more than a dozen
representatives of Global Trade and Technology Council of India were present.
Presidents and high officials of some well known companies of the country were
also present.
During this
meeting, Governor Bandaru Dattatraya welcomed all the delegates and said that
with visits and meetings on such a large scale the relations between our
country as well as of the states with foreign countries will be further
enhanced. This will also lead to progress in trade, agriculture, art culture,
education, environment and other areas between other states and countries.
He said that with the
independence given to Indian states in foreign affairs by the Central
Government, now the states can directly enter into MoUs with foreign countries.
Governor Dattatraya said that there is immense potential
for cooperation between the Pacific countries and Haryana. From higher
education to skill development, from IT enabled services to foodgrain
development, Haryana is ready to work in every field and to partner with all
countries.
On this occasion, Governor Dattatraya honoured all the Ambassadors,
High Commissioners and representatives of Global Trade and Technology Council
of India with mementoes.
इस मुलाकात के दौरान राज्यपाल बंडारू
दत्तात्रेय ने सभी प्रतिनिधियों का स्वागत किया और कहा कि इस प्रकार के बड़े स्तर
के दौरों, बैठकों व मुलाकातों से देश के साथ-साथ राज्यों के साथ भी विदेशों
के सम्बन्ध और प्रगाढ़ होंगे। जिससे एक दूसरे राज्यों और देशों के बीच व्यापार, कृषि, कला संस्कृति, शिक्षा, पर्यावरण व अन्य
क्षेत्रों में प्रगति होगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा
विदेशी मामलों में भारतीय राज्यों को मिली स्वतंत्रता से अब राज्य विदेशों के साथ
सीधे एम.ओ.यू. और समझौते कर पाएंगे। राज्यों के इस प्रकार के सम्बन्ध स्थापित होने
से लोग एक दूसरे देशों व राज्यों की संस्कृति, परम्पराओं, जलवायु तथा भौगोलिक
स्थिति से अवगत होंगे।
राज्यपाल दत्तात्रेय ने कहा कि
पैसिफिक देशों और हरियाणा के बीच सहयोग की अपार संभावनाएं हैं। उच्च शिक्षा से
लेकर कौशल विकास तक, आईटी सक्षम सेवाओं से लेकर खाद्यान्न विकास तक, हरियाणा सभी देशों
के साथ साझेदारी करने के लिए हर स्थिति में काम करने के लिए तैयार है।
हरियाणा इन क्षेत्रों के साथ-साथ आटोमोबाईल, फूड प्रोसेसिंग, डेयरी उत्पाद में
सभी पैसीफिक व अफ्रीकी देशों की मदद करने में आगे बढ़कर कार्य करेगा।
इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल दत्तात्रेय ने
सभी राजदूतों, उच्चायुक्तों तथा ग्लोबल ट्रेड एण्ड टैक्नोलोजी कांउसिल ऑफ इण्डिया के प्रतिनिधियों को स्मृति चिन्ह देकर सम्मानित किया।
