चंडीगढ़, डिजिटल डेक्स।। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने प्रदेशभर से आ रही जलभराव की तस्वीरों पर गहरी चिंता जाहिर की है। हुड्डा का कहना है कि मानसून की पहली बारिश के बाद ही रोहतक समेत पूरे हरियाणा की सड़कें समंदर और गलियां तालाब में तबदील हो गईं।
लगभग हर शहर में सीवरेज सिस्टम पूरी तरह ठप हो गया। जहां देखो
वहां जल ही जल नजर आ रहा है। हर बारिश के बाद यह नजारा आम हो गया है। बीजेपी-जेजेपी सरकार की अनदेखी के चलते यह अव्यवस्था
मानो हरियाणावासियों की किस्मत बन गई है।
हुड्डा ने कहा कि कई दिनों की चिलचिलाती गर्मी के बाद हुई बारिश लोगों के लिए राहत लेकर आई है। लेकिन सरकार की बदइंतजामी ने राहत को आफत में बदल दिया। रोहतक समेत कई शहर पानी से लबालब हो गए और लोगों के मकानों व दुकानों में पानी भर गया। हजारों की तादाद में कार, स्कूटर, बाइक व अन्य वाहन पानी में डूब गए। सड़कों पर पानी जमा होने की वजह से लगातार हादसे हो रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि हर बारिश के बाद बार-बार आगाह करने के बावजूद सरकार ने कोई सबक नहीं लिया और लोगों को उनके हाल पर छोड़ दिया। बारिश की शुरुआत में यह हाल है तो आने वाले दिनों में स्थिति और परेशान करने वाली हो सकती है। क्योंकि अभी बारिश का सीजन कई दिनों और चलेगा।
ऐसे में सरकार को जलभराव की समस्या से निपटने के लिए युद्ध स्तर पर काम करना होगा। जल निकासी के लिए प्रशासन को त्वरित दिशा निर्देश दिए जाने चाहिए और यह सुनिश्चित किया जाना चाहिए कि आने वाले दिनों में लोगों को इस भयावह स्थिति का सामना नहीं करना पड़ेगा।

Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed deep
concern over the pictures of waterlogging coming from across the state and said
that while rains brought relief from the heat, it soon turned into a nightmare
as roads and streets of entire Haryana, including Rohtak, were turned into
ponds.
“Sewerage system
came to a complete halt in almost every city. Wherever you look, you can see
water. This sight has become common after every rain. Due to the neglect of the
BJP-JJP government, this chaos has become the fate of the people of Haryana,”
he stated.
Hooda said the
rains after several days of scorching heat brought relief to the people, but
the government's mismanagement turned relief into a disaster. Many cities
including Rohtak were inundated with water and people's houses and shops were
flooded. Thousands of cars, scooters, bikes and other vehicles were submerged
in the water. There are frequent accidents due to water logging on the roads,
he added.
The former Chief Minister said that despite repeated warnings after every rain, the government did not learn any lesson and left the people on their own. “If this is the situation at the beginning of the monsoon season, then the situation may become more disturbing in the coming days as the rainy season will go on for many more days. In such a situation, the government will have to work on a war footing to deal with the problem of water logging. The administration should be given prompt directions for drainage and it should be ensured that people do not face this dreadful situation in the coming days,” he stated.
