State Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has said that the construction of an international standard airport in Hisar is an ambitious plan of the people of the entire state. In order to take this dream project on the ground, the Haryana Government will spend an amount of Rs 946 crore for the construction works of Maharaja Agrasen International Hisar Airport.

The Deputy CM said that it is a matter of pride for the people of the state that Hisar airport has been named after Maharaja Agrasen by the Haryana Government. He said that Maharaja Agrasen’s Agroha town is just 20 km away from Hisar and now Agroha will also get international recognition by naming the international airport. Dushyant Chautala said that the allocated funds will be used during the next three years.
Dushyant said that the work of developing Hisar as an
aviation hub is going on at a brisk pace. He said that 15 percent work of Rs
164 crore tender issued by Public Works Department for the construction of
runway, taxiway and apron has been completed and 75 to 90 percent of the work
of excavation and earthwork of the runway is completed. are done.
दुष्यंत ने कहा कि हिसार को एविएशन हब के रूप में विकसित करने का कार्य तेजी से चल रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि रनवे, टैक्सीवे व ऐप्रन को बनाने के लिए लोक निर्माण विभाग द्वारा जारी किए गए 164 करोड़ रुपये के टेंडर का 15 प्रतिशत काम पूरा हो चुका है और रनवे का खुदाई कार्य व इस पर मिट्टी डालने का काम 75 से 90 प्रतिशत तक पूरा हो चुका है।
उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि गांव तलवंडी राणा-धांसू-मिर्जापुर व हिसार को जोड़ने वाली सड़क का चौड़ीकरण व सुदृढ़ीकरण कर दिया गया है ताकि तलवंडी राणा-हिसार रोड बंद होने पर इसे वैकल्पिक रोड के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जा सका। उन्होंने बताया कि आवंटित राशि के तहत हवाई अड्डे में कैट लाइट सुविधायुक्त तीन हजार मीटर रनवे का निर्माण, टर्मिनल बिल्डिंग, 23 मीटर चौड़ा टैक्सी ट्रैक, पार्किंग स्टैंड, कार्गो टर्मिनल, फायर स्टेशन, एयर ट्रैफिक कंट्रोल बिल्डिंग, चारदीवारी, लाइट, मेंटेनेंस बिल्डिंग, एयरपोर्ट सिक्योरिटी बिल्डिंग, डोमेस्टिक कार्गो बिल्डिंग, पावर हाउस, विद्युत प्रसारण स्टेशन, पब्लिक पार्किंग स्पेस सहित अन्य भवनों का निर्माण होगा।
दुष्यंत चौटाला ने कहा कि हवाई अड्डे के निर्माण के लिए सरकारी जमीन पर 7200 एकड़ जमीन की व्यवस्था की जा चुकी है। उन्होंने बताया कि हिसार में 4200 एकड़ जमीन नागरिक उड्डयन विभाग के पास आ चुकी है और शेष तीन हजार एकड़ भूमि के हस्तांतरण की प्रक्रिया तेजी पर है। डिप्टी सीएम ने कहा कि तीसरे चरण में दूसरा करीबन चार हजार मीटर लंबा रनवे का निर्माण सहित अन्य मौजूदा आधारभूत ढांचे का विस्तार किया जाना प्रस्तावित है।
दुष्यंत चौटाला ने कहा कि हिसार में हवाई अड्डे के आस-पास अन्य उद्योग को विकसित करने की योजना पर भी हरियाणा सरकार गंभीरता से विचार कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि हिसार में करीबन दस हजार एकड़ भूमि उपलब्ध है और एविएशन हब के आसपास उद्योगों को विकसित करने के लिए सर्वोत्तम स्थान है।
