Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sandeep Singh today conducted a surprise inspection of Pehowa Municipal Office. During the inspection, the Minister of State found that there were several irregularities in the office, due to which he ordered the suspension of 3 officers/employees.
Sardar Sandeep Singh said that complaints
were being received for several days regarding the working style of the
municipal office, due to which the office was inspected today. He said that the
post was pending in the office of JE Om Prakash since January. Apart from this,
complaints were also received that the employees in question do not come to the
office regularly, due to which the work of the office was not going smoothly.
He said that Smt. Meenakshi, who is the SI and whose job is to take care of the
cleanliness of the city, was also found absent in the office. Besides this,
Beldar Dalbir has also been suspended for dereliction of duty. He said that a
show cause notice has been issued to the accountant for coming late to the
office.
सरदार संदीप सिंह ने बताया कि नगरपालिका कार्यालय की कार्यशैली को लेकर कई दिनों से शिकायतें मिल रहीं थी उसी के चलते आज कार्यालय का निरीक्षण किया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि ओमप्रकाश जेई के कार्यालय में जनवरी माह से डाक पेंडिग पडी थी। इसके अलावा वे कार्यालय में नियमित रूप से नहीं आते, इसकी भी शिकायत मिली थी जिसके कारण कार्यालय का कार्य सुचारू रूप से नहीं चल रहा था। उन्होंने बताया कि श्रीमती मीनाक्षी, जो कि एसआई हैं और जिनका कार्य शहर की साफ सफाई का ध्यान रखना है, ये भी कार्यालय में अनुपस्थित पाई गई। इसके अलावा, बेलदार दलबीर को भी कार्य करने में कोताही बरतने के चलते निलंबित किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि कार्यालय में लेट आने के चलते अकाउटेंट को कारण बताओं नोटिस जारी किया गया है।
