हरियाणा कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि भाजपा-जजपा
सरकार की किसान विरोधी नीतियों, महंगाई
व प्रकृति की मार से किसान बेहाल हैं। बार-बार हो रही बारिश व ओलावृष्टि ने
किसानों की कमर तोड़ दी है। अब किसान की हिम्मत जवाब देने लगी है। शुक्रवार की शाम
से प्रदेश में शुरू हुई बारिश और ओलावृष्टि ने फसलों को भारी नुकसान पहुँचाया है।
कांग्रेस पार्टी प्रदेश सरकार से मांग करती है कि नुकसान की तुरंत विशेष गिरदावरी
करवाकर किसानों को उनके नुकसान की 15 दिन
में भरपाई की जाए।
मीडिया से बात करते हुए कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि लगातार दो सीजन में फसलों को हुए नुकसान से किसान बर्बादी के कगार पर पहुंच चुके हैं। पहले धान व कपास की फसल में बड़ा नुकसान हुआ तो अब गेहूँ, सरसों और सब्जी की फसल को बारिश और ओलावृष्टि ने नुकसान पहुँचाया है। शुक्रवार को हुई ओलावृष्टि, बारिश व तेज हवा से रेवाड़ी, महेंद्रगढ़, सिरसा, भिवानी, फतेहाबाद व चरखी दादरी जिले में सबसे ज्यादा नुकसान की सूचनाएं मिली हैं। अन्य स्थानों पर भी फसलों को नुकसान हुआ है। अन्नदाता की मेहनत जमीन में बिछी पड़ी है और चारों तरफ तबाही मची है।
कहा कि केंद्र और प्रदेश की सरकार किसानों को बर्बाद करने पर तुली हुई हैं। किसान फसलों को मंडी में बेचने से लेकर उनके भुगतान तक दर-दर की ठोकरें खाते हैं। सरकार साजिशन किसानों की फसल की सरकारी खरीद नहीं करती है। सरकार की किसान विरोधी मानसिकता का ही परिणाम है कि अक्टूबर, नवंबर, दिसंबर व जनवरी के महीनों में किसान रात-रात भर जाग कर यूरिया व डीएपी के इंतजाम में लगा रहा और सरकार कोई ठोस इंतजाम करने की बजाए मूकदर्शक बनी रही। अंबाला, कुरुक्षेत्र, यमुनानगर जिलों में फसल बर्बाद हो गई तो किसानों ने सूरजमुखी की फसल की बुआई करने का फैसला लिया। लेकिन, पिछले साल 1600 रुपये प्रति एकड़ की दर से मिलने वाला बीज इस बार नौ हजार रुपये प्रति एकड़ तक मिला। शिकायतों के बावजूद कृषि विभाग ने कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की और किसानों को मजबूरी में ब्लैक में ही बीज खरीदना पड़ा।
हरियाणा कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि बीते महीनों में कम से कम 12 बार बारिश और ओलावृष्टि से किसानों की फसलों को नुकसान पहुंचा है। प्रदेश के अधिकतर किसानों की फसल खराब हो चुकी हैं और अब भी सरकार मौन है। सरकार बीते महीनों में खराब हुई फसलों के नुकसान की गिरदावरी ही नहीं करा रही है, सरकार साजिशन किसानों को मुआवजे से वंचित कर रही है।
Kumari Selja said that farmers were on the verge of getting ruined due to damage caused to crops in two consecutive seasons. Earlier, they suffered big loss in paddy and cotton crops and now, the wheat, mustard and vegetable crops had been damaged by rain and hailstorm. The maximum damage had been reported in Rewari, Mahendragarh, Sirsa, Bhiwani, Fatehabad and Charkhi Dadri districts due to hailstorm, rain and strong wind on Friday.
Kumari Selja said that the central and state governments were bent on ruining the farmers. Right from selling their crops in mandi till getting its payment, farmers have to suffer at every point. As a part of conspiracy, the government does not make purchases of farmers' crops. It was the result of the anti-farmer mentality of the government that in the months of October, November, December and January, the farmer remained sleepless for making arrangement of urea and DAP, and instead of making any concrete arrangements, the government remained a mute spectator. In Ambala, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar districts, when potatoes and other vegetables got damaged, the farmers decided to sow sunflower crop, but, the sunflower seed, which was available at the rate of Rs 1600 per acre last year had got up to Rs 9,000 per acre this time. Despite complaints, the Agriculture Department did not take any action and the farmers were compelled to buy seeds in black, said Kumari Selja.
She said that in the last month itself, the crops of the farmers had been damaged due to rain and hailstorm at least eight times. The crops of most of the farmers of the state had been damaged and even now the government was silent. The government was not getting conducted girdawari to access the loss of crops damaged in the last months and it was conspiratorially depriving the farmers of compensation.
Kumari Selja said that the government should provide compensation to the farmers within 15 days by immediately conducting a special girdawari of the crops damaged in the past months and due to the recent rains and hailstorms.
कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि सरकार तुरंत प्रभाव से बीते महीनों के साथ अभी हाल ही में आई बारिश और ओलावृष्टि से खराब हुई फसलों की विशेष गिरदावरी करवाकर किसानों को 15 दिनों के अंदर मुआवजा प्रदान करे।
