हालात ऐसे हो चले हैं कि एक हफ्ते के भीतर सूबे के तीन-तीन विधायकों को जान से मारने की धमकी मिल चुकी है। इनमें खुद भाजपा विधायक संजय सिंह (सोहना) भी शामिल हैं। इनके अलावा कांग्रेस विधायक रेणु बाला और सुरेंद्र पवार को भी बदमाशों ने धमकी दी है। हुड्डा ने सभी विधायकों के लिए उचित सुरक्षा व धमकी देने वालों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की है।
नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि प्रदेश में बदमाशों का हौसला सातवें आसमान पर पहुंच चुका है। आम जनता खौफजदा है जबकि अपराधी बेखौफ घूम रहे हैं। कई बार देखा गया है कि अन्य राज्यों में वारदात करके बदमाश हरियाणा में आकर शरण लेते हैं, क्योंकि यहां वो खुद को सुरक्षित महसूस करते हैं।
हुड्डा ने कहा कि पिछले कुछ सालों से एनसीआरबी के आंकड़े खुद सरकार की कार्यशैली को उजागर कर रहे हैं। आंकड़े बताते हैं कि हरियाणा में रोज 3 से 4 हत्या, लगभग आधा दर्जन रेप, दर्जनभर अपहरण और 100 से ज्यादा चोरी, लूट, डकैती, फिरौती की वारदातें होती हैं। नशा और दंगा-फसाद में हरियाणा ने देश के बड़े-बड़े राज्यों को पीछे छोड़ दिया है।
भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने याद दिलाया कि 2005 में कांग्रेस सरकार आने से पहले भी प्रदेश में ऐसे ही हालात थे। लेकिन, जैसे ही 2005 में उनकी सरकार आई, उन्होंने कानून-व्यवस्था को सुधारना अपनी प्राथमिकता बनाया।
पुलिस ने एक-एक करके सभी बदमाशों को उनके अंजाम तक पहुंचाया। बदमाश या तो हरियाणा छोड़कर चले गए या फिर सलाखों के पीछे डाल दिए गए। अपराधियों का सफाया होने के बाद प्रदेश में सुरक्षित माहौल होने की वजह से यहाँ जमकर निवेश आया। जिससे यहां रोजगार सृजन हुआ और युवाओं को नौकरियां मिलीं।
उन्होंने कहा कि आज हालात बिल्कुल उलट हैं, कानून-व्यवस्था का जनाजा निकल चुका है। सूबे में सुरक्षित माहौल नहीं होने की वजह से कोई यहाँ निवेश करने को तैयार नहीं है। उद्योग-धंधे लगातार यहां से पलायन कर रहे हैं, जिसके कारण निजी क्षेत्र में भी रोजगार तेज़ी से खत्म होते जा रहे हैं।
यही कारण है कि हरियाणा आज 30.6 प्रतिशत बेरोज़गारी दर के साथ पूरे देश में टॉप पर है। बेरोजगारी से हताश युवा अपराध और नशे की जद में फंसते जा रहे हैं। इन सब हालातों के लिए प्रदेश की बीजेपी और जेजेपी सरकार पूर्ण जिम्मेदार है।
हुड्डा ने कहा कि जनता को सुरक्षा मुहैया करवाना प्रदेश सरकार की पहली जिम्मेदारी होती है। इसका अहसास करते हुए सरकार को कानून-व्यवस्था पर ध्यान देना चाहिए। अगर मौजूदा सरकार ऐसा नहीं करती है तो आने वाले समय में कांग्रेस सरकार बनने पर एकबार फिर प्रदेश से अपराध व अपराधियों का सफाया किया जाएगा।
Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has stated that the law & order situation has completely collapsed under the BJP-JJP government and made it a stronghold of criminals.
Holding the coalition government responsible for the rising crime, Hooda said that today no one is safe in the state, neither common man nor MLA. “The situation has become such that within a week, three MLAs of the state have received death threats. These include BJP MLA Sanjay Singh (Sohna), Congress MLAs Renu Bala and Surendra Pawar have also been threatened by miscreants” he said and demanded proper security for all the MLAs and action against those who have been threatened.
Leader of Opposition said that the morale of the criminals has reached the skies and the public is scared and criminals are roaming freely. “It has been seen many times that after committing crimes in other states, miscreants come and hide in Haryana, because criminals feel safe in the state,” he said.
Hooda said NCRB data for the last few years exposes the working style of the government. “Statistics show that there are 3 to 4 murders, about half a dozen rapes, a dozen kidnappings and more than 100 thefts, robberies, dacoities, ransom incidents in Haryana every day. Haryana has left behind bigger states of the country in drug addiction and riots,” he said.
The Leader of Opposition pointed out that a similar situation existed before the Congress government came to power in 2005 and the government made improving the law and order its top priority. “One by one the police took decisive action against all of them, the miscreants either left Haryana or were put behind bars. The elimination of criminals created a safe environment in the state which led to massive investments in the state, leading to job creation and youth got jobs,” he said.
“But today the rule of law has come to an end. No one is ready to invest in the state due to lack of safe environment in the state. Industries are constantly migrating from here, due to which employment is also ending. For this reason, today Haryana is on top in unemployment with 30.6 percent rate. Desperate youth due to unemployment are continuously getting trapped in the JD of crime and drugs. The BJP and JJP government of the state are responsible for this situations,” he said.
Hooda said that providing security to the public is the first responsibility of the state government. The government must realize this and should focus on law and order. But if the present government does not do this, then in the coming time, crime and criminals will be eliminated from the state when the Congress government is formed,” he said.
