चंडीगढ़, डिजिटल डेक्स।। एंटी करप्शन ब्यूरो, हरियाणा की टीम ने जिला रेवाड़ी में वेरीफिकेशन के एवज में 2000 रुपये की रिश्वत लेने वाले एक सेल्स टैक्स इंस्पेक्टर (जीएसटी) को रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार किया है। इसके अतिरिक्त, शिकायतकर्ता पर क्रास केस का दबाब बनाकर 1.40 लाख रुपये की रिश्वत मांगने के आरोप में सोनीपत के कुंडली थाना में तैनात सब-इंस्पेक्टर पर एफआईआर दर्ज की है।

एंटी करप्शन ब्यूरो के प्रवक्ता ने आज यहां जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि रिश्वत लेते रंगे हाथ पकड़े गए कर्मचारी की पहचान सेल्स टैक्स इंस्पेक्टर (जीएसटी) शिवपाल सिंह के रूप में हुई है। इंस्पेक्टर द्वारा शिकायतकर्ता की फर्म का जीएसटी नंबर जारी करने के लिए होने वाली वेरिफिकेशन की एवज में रिश्वत की मांग की गई थी।
शिकायतकर्ता ने ब्यूरो में इसकी शिकायत दी। ब्यूरो की टीम ने कार्रवाई करते हुए 2000 रुपये लेते आरोपी को मौके पर ही दबोच लिया।
एक अन्य मामले में, हरियाणा पुलिस के सब-इंस्पेक्टर द्वारा क्रॉस केस का दबाव बनाकर 1.40 लाख रुपये की रिश्वत मांगने की शिकायत मिलने के बाद, एंटी करप्शन ब्यूरो की टीम ने सोनीपत के कुंडली थाना में तैनात आरोपी सब-इंस्पेक्टर सुरेंद्र कुमार को काबू करने का प्रयास किया।
लेकिन आरोपी रिश्वत के रुपये लेकर मौके से फरार हो गया। ब्यूरो ने आरोपी के खिलाफ करप्शन एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज कर आगामी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है और उसकी गिरफ्तारी के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।
सोनीपत के कुंडली थाना क्षेत्र निवासी ने ब्यूरो में शिकायत दी कि कुंडली थाना में तैनात सब इंस्पेक्टर सुरेंद्र कुमार उन पर क्रॉस केस दर्ज करने का दबाव बनाकर 1.40 लाख रुपये की रिश्वत की मांग कर रहा है। शिकायत के बाद, ब्यूरो ने उसको पकड़ने के लिए जाल बिछाया और आरोपी को रंगेहाथ पकड़ने के लिए रेड की।
लेकिन आरोपी एएसआई फरार हो गया जिसकी तलाश जारी है। आरोपियों के खिलाफ ष्टाचार निरोधक अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है और आगे की कार्रवाई की जारी है।

A team of Anti Corruption Bureau, Haryana has arrested a Sales Tax Inspector (GST) red-handed for accepting illegal gratification of Rs 2000 in lieu of physical verification of a firm in district Rewari. Apart from this, an FIR has also been registered against a Police Sub-Inspector posted at Kundli police station in Sonepat for demanding Rs 1.40 lakh in lieu of not registering a cross case.
While giving this information here today, a spokesperson of Anti Corruption Bureau said that the employee caught red-handed accepting bribe has been identified as Sales Tax Inspector (GST) Shivpal Singh. A bribe was demanded by the Inspector in lieu of the physical verification to be done for issuing the GST number of the complainant's firm. The complainant lodged a complaint with the bureau. Taking action, the bureau team nabbed the accused on the spot while accepting Rs 2000.
In another case, after receiving a complaint against a Sub-Inspector of Haryana Police demanding a bribe of Rs 1.40 lakh for not registering a cross-case, the Anti-Corruption Bureau team conducted a raid to nab the accused Sub-Inspector Surender Kumar, posted at Kundli police station in Sonipat. But the accused fled from the spot after taking the bribe money. The bureau has registered a case against the accused under the PC Act and efforts are being made to arrest him.
A resident of Kundli police station area of Sonepat complained that accused Sub Inspector Surender Kumar is demanding a bribe of Rs 1.40 lakh from the complainant in lieu of not registering the cross-case in a FIR already registered in the police station. Following the complaint, the bureau laid a trap and conducted a raid to catch the accused red-handed. But the accused SI absconded whose search is on.
A case has been registered against the accused under the Prevention of Corruption Act and further probe is underway.
