भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने मंडियों में धान की बेकद्री पर गहरी चिंता जाहिर की है।
हुड्डा का कहना है कि करीब 14
लाख क्विंटल धान मंडियों में खुले आसमान के नीचे पड़ी है। लेकिन सरकार की तरफ से
खरीद नहीं की जा रही। जबकि खुद सरकार ने 25
सितंबर से सरकारी खरीद शुरू करने का एलान किया था। इस बीच रुक-रुककर हो रही बारिश
के चलते किसानों की धान खराब हो रही है। सरकारी लेटलतीफी के चलते किसानों को
एमएसपी से कम रेट पर अपनी फसल बेचनी पड़ रही है।
रोहतक में पत्रकार वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने सरकार के बाजरा नहीं खरीदने वाले बयान पर भी कड़ी आपत्ति जाहिर की। हुड्डा का कहना है कि पहले सरकार किसानों को धान छोड़कर बाजरा उगाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करती है और अब वो खुद बाजरा नहीं खरीदने की बात करती है। यह किसान विरोधी फैसला है। सरकार जिस भावांतर भरपाई योजना के जरिए बाजरा उत्पादक किसानों को फायदा पहुंचाने की बात कर रही है उसने सब्जी उत्पादक किसानों को बर्बादी की कगार पर ला दिया है। इस योजना से ना किसानों को भावांतर मिल पाता और ना ही उनके नुकसान की भरपाई हो पाती। इसलिए सरकार को अपने वादे के मुताबिक बाजरा और सभी फसलों का एक-एक दाना खरीदना चाहिए।
“The government itself had announced that it would start procurement from September 25 but there is no clarity on when this would start. While the government is dragging its feet, paddy of the farmers is getting spoiled due to the intermittent rains. Farmers have no other option but to sell their crops below MSP,” he said.
Addressing a press conference in Rohtak, Hooda also expressed strong objection to the statement of the government not to buy millet. “Earlier the government encouraged farmers to leave paddy and grow bajra and now it talks about not buying bajra. This is an anti-farmer decision,” he said.
“The government is promising to protect Bajra farmers under the Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana but this scheme has pushed vegetable growing farmers to the brink of ruin. With this scheme, neither the farmers could get Bhavantar nor would their loss be compensated. Therefore, the government should buy millet and every grain of all crops according to its promise,” he said.
Leader of Opposition said water logging remains a major problem facing the farmers even today as crops have suffered extensive damage due to excessive rain. “Farmers have not got their compensation till now and there are many fields in the state that continue to be water logged and no arrangement has been made drain out water from these areas. The government should soon compensate the damaged crops and make arrangements for drainage so that farmers can prepare their fields for the next crop.” Hooda demanded.
Talking to reporters, Hooda also talked about the rising unemployment, crime and the latest NCRB data in the state. “The BJP-JJP government has brought Haryana among the top states of the country in cases of murder, rape, atrocities on women, kidnapping and theft. Today the condition of both the law and order and roads of the state is very bad. All the roads get flooded with water after a light rain and potholes of roads lead to fatal accidents. There is no such district in the state where the condition of roads is better. The BJP government could not even get patch work done on the roads which were constructed during the Congress government,” he said

नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि जलभराव आज भी किसानों के सामने बड़ी समस्या बना हुआ है। अधिक बारिश की वजह से फसलों को काफी नुकसान पहुंचा है। अब तक किसानों को उसका मुआवजा नहीं मिल पाया है। जिन खेतों में आज भी पानी खड़ा है, वहां पर भी निकासी की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं की गई है। सरकार को जल्द ही खराब हुई फसलों का मुआवजा देना चाहिए और जल निकासी के लिए व्यवस्था करनी चाहिए ताकि किसान अगली फसल के लिए अपने खेत को तैयार कर सकें।
पत्रकारों से बातचीत में हुड्डा ने प्रदेश में बढ़ती बेरोजगारी, अपराध और एनसीआरबी के ताजा आंकड़ों का भी ज़िक्र किया। उन्होंने बताया कि बीजेपी-जेजेपी सरकार ने हरियाणा को हत्या, बलात्कार, महिलाओं पर अत्याचार, किडनैपिंग और चोरी जैसी वारदातों के मामले में देश के टॉप राज्यों में लाकर खड़ा कर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज प्रदेश की कानून व्यवस्था और सड़कें, दोनों की हालत बेहद खस्ता है। हल्की सी बारिश के बाद तमाम सड़कें पानी से लबालब हो जाती हैं। सड़कों के गड्ढे जानलेवा हादसों को न्योता देते हैं। प्रदेश का ऐसा कोई जिला नहीं है जहां पर सड़कों की हालत बेहतर हो। कांग्रेस कार्यकाल में जिन सड़कों का निर्माण हुआ, बीजेपी सरकार उनपर पैच वर्क तक नहीं करवा सकी।
