Chandigarh- डीएपी के बाद यूरिया किल्लत झेल रहे किसान, सरकार जिम्मेदार: हुड्डा

चंडीगढ़ NEWS। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा का कहना है डीएपी के बाद अब किसानों को यूरिया के लिए भारी जद्दोजहद करनी पड़ रही है। प्रदेशभर में किसानों को यूरिया के लिए लंबी-लंबी कतारों में घंटों इंतजार करना पड़ रहा है। हुड्डा ने कहा कि फसलों की बुवाई के वक्त भी सरकार ने किसानों को डीएपी के लिए खूब तड़पाया था। अब एक बार फिर यूरिया के लिए किसानों को कतारों में खड़ा कर दिया गया है। बड़े दुर्भाग्य की बात है कि बीजेपी-जेजेपी सरकार के दौरान लगातार पुलिस सुरक्षा में खाद बांटनी पड़ रही है। बच्चों और महिलाओं को भी थाने के बाहर कतारों में खड़ा होना पड़ता है। किसानों की जरुरत, मांग और वक्त की जानकारी होते हुए भी सरकार जानबूझकर खाद की किल्लत पैदा कर रही है। इसकी वजह से कालाबाजारी को बढ़ावा मिलता है और किसानों को महंगे रेट पर खाद खरीदनी पड़ती है। पहले ही पेट्रोल, डीजल, दवाई, बीज, खेती उपकरणों समेत अलग-अलग तरह की महंगाई से जूझ रहे किसानों की लागत इसके चलते और अधिक बढ़ जाती है।

भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि पिछले 4-5 दिन से लगातार हो रही बारिश के चलते सरसों, गोभी, आलू और अन्य सब्जियों की फसल को काफी नुकसान पहुंचा है। ज्यादा बारिश की वजह से किसानों को भारी नुकसान का सामना करना पड़ा है। इसलिए सरकार को फौरन गिरदावरी करवाकर किसानों को मुआवजा देना चाहिए। पिछले साल अक्टूबर-नवंबर में भी बारिश की वजह से 5.50 लाख एकड़ से ज्यादा भूमि पर खड़ी फसल बर्बाद हो गई थी। एक लाख से ज्यादा किसानों ने नुकसान के मुआवजे को लेकर सरकार के सामने अर्जी लगाकर गुहार लगाई थी। लेकिन अब तक भी किसानों को मुआवजा नहीं मिला है। इसलिए सरकार को इस बार के खराबे और पिछली बार के नुकसान की भरपाई जल्द करनी चाहिए।

“Even at the time of sowing of crops, the government had tormented the farmers for DAP. Now farmers have been made to stand in queues for urea. It is a matter of great misfortune that during the BJP-JJP government, fertilizers are being distributed continuously in the police security and children and women also have to stand in queues outside the police station,” he said.

“Despite knowing about the need, timing and demand of farmers, the government is deliberately creating shortage of fertilizers. This encourages black marketing gets and farmers have to buy fertilizers at expensive rates and further increases the input costs of the farmers as the farmers are already suffering because of high prices of various agricultural inputs, including high prices of petroleum products, pesticides, seeds and farming equipment, which is constantly increasing,” he said.

Drawing the government’s attention to the losses suffered by farmers due to incessant rains, Hooda said mustard, cabbage, potato and other vegetables have suffered heavily due to continuous rains for the last 4-5 days. “The farmers have suffered heavy losses due to excessive rains and the the government should immediately get the Girdawari done and give compensation to the farmers,” he demanded.

The former Chief Minister also attacked the government over the non-payment of compensation to farmers. “Last year in October-November also, due to rains, standing crops on more than 5.50 lakh acres of land were ruined. More than one lakh farmers had appealed to the government for compensation for the loss but the farmers have not got compensation till now. The government should make up for the delay and compensate the damage suffered by the farmers last time,” he said.

Hooda said every section of the state is troubled because of the policies of the state government, be it traders, laborers or farmers. “The wages of the laborers working in the grain markets have not been paid by the state government even for the Kharif season. The commission due to be paid to arhtiyas and the wages of the laborers adds to nearly Rs 1,000 crore. The government should clear these payments immediately,” he said.

हुड्डा ने कहा कि आज प्रदेश का हर वर्ग परेशान है व्यापारी हो, मजदूर हो या किसान हो। प्रदेश सरकार की तरफ से अनाज मंडियों में काम करने वाले मजदूरों की खरीफ सीजन की मजदूरी भी अब तक नहीं दी गई। आढ़तियों के कमीशन और मजदूरों की मजदूरी की ये बकाया धनराशि लगभग एक हजार करोड़ की बनती है, जिसका भुगतान सरकार को फौरन करना चाहिए।
