Chandigarh- गरीब परिवारों से माफी मांग त्यागपत्र दें शिक्षा मंत्री : कुमारी सैलजा

चंडीगढ़ NEWS। हरियाणा प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि गरीब परिवारों के बच्चों के प्रदेश के प्राइवेट स्कूलों में दाखिले करवाने में विफल रहे शिक्षा मंत्री को इन परिवारों से सार्वजनिक माफी मांगते हुए अपने पद से त्याग पत्र दे देना चाहिए। इनके दाखिले न होने से प्रदेश की भाजपा-जजपा गठबंधन सरकार की प्राइवेट स्कूल संचालकों के साथ मिलीभगत भी उजागर हो गई है। इससे पता चलता है कि प्रदेश सरकार को गरीबों से कोई सरोकार नहीं है। इन्हें सिर्फ अपने पूंजीपति मित्रों के हितों की ही रक्षा करनी है।

मीडिया को जारी बयान में कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि हरियाणा एजुकेशन रूल की धारा 134ए को खत्म करने की हर कोशिश का कांग्रेस विरोध करेगी और प्रदेश सरकार को मुंहतोड़ जवाब देगी। इसको खत्म करने के साथ ही गरीब परिवारों की अपने बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा दिलाने की उम्मीदें खत्म हो जाएंगी व प्राइवेट स्कूल माफिया और अधिक संगठित हो जाएगा।

हरियाणा कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि 134ए के खत्म होने से सालाना 2 लाख रुपये की आय वाले गरीब परिवारों के बच्चों को प्राइवेट स्कूलों में निशुल्क शिक्षा का प्रावधान खत्म हो जाएगा। जबकि, आज प्रदेश में स्कूलों की संख्या के हिसाब से गरीब परिवारों के बच्चों के लिए दो लाख से अधिक सीट इस नियम के तहत आरक्षित हैं। इस नियम के तहत पात्र परिवार को बच्चा टेस्ट पास कर किसी भी प्राइवेट स्कूल में दाखिला ले सकता है। वह टेस्ट के मुताबिक किसी भी कक्षा में दाखिला लेने साथ ही सेशन की बीच में स्कूल भी बदल सकता है। बच्चें की फीस व दाखिले की जिम्मेदारी प्रदेश सरकार की रहती है।

In a statement issued to the media, Kumari Selja said that the Congress will oppose every attempt to abolish Section 134A of the Haryana Education Rule and will give a befitting reply to the state government. With the abolishment of this Rule, the hopes of poor families to get good education for their children will end and the private school mafia will become more organized.

Kumari Selja said that with the abolition of Rule 134A, the provision of free education in private schools to the children of poor families earning an annual income of Rs. 2 lakh will come to an end. Whereas, according to the number of schools in the state, more than two lakh seats were reserved in private schools for the children of poor families. Under this rule, a child from an eligible family can pass the test and take admission in any private school. The student can take admission in any class as per the test and also change school in between the session. The responsibility of the fee and admission of the children rests with the state government, said Kumari Selja.

She said that if 134A is abolished, the poor families will be able to enroll their child only in first class. They will stop getting the option of admission in any other class. In such a situation, these families will only have option to get admission in their nearest private school. That is, they will not be able to choose the school according to their choice, she added.

Kumari Selja said that the state government had bowed before the lobby of private school operators. Despite the passage of 9 months, till date the government has not been able to get admission of these children. The statement of the Education Minister, who failed in getting admission to children of poor families in private schools, that he is making changes to abolish Education Rule 134A to ensure that children from poor families do not face any problems in future, is totally wrong and baseless.

Kumari Selja said that this step of the Education Minister and the State Government is like kneeling before the private school operators. The people of the state will never forgive him for this step said Kumari Selja.

कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि अगर 134ए को खत्म कर दिया तो ये परिवार अपने बच्चे का दाखिला सिर्फ पहली कक्षा में ही करवा सकेंगे। इन्हें किसी भी अन्य कक्षा में दाखिले का ऑप्शन मिलना बंद हो जाएगा। ऐसे में इन परिवारों के सामने अपने नजदीकी प्राइवेट स्कूल में ही दाखिला करवाने का प्रावधान रहेगा। यानी, पसंद के मुताबिक स्कूल नहीं चुन सकेंगे।

कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि प्राइवेट स्कूल संचालकों की लॉबी के आगे प्रदेश की सरकार नतमस्तक हो चुकी है। इनके लोभ-लालच में आकर ही 9 महीने बीतने के बावजूद आज तक सरकार इन बच्चों के दाखिले नहीं करवा पाई है। दाखिलों में विफल रहे शिक्षा मंत्री का यह कहना सरासर गलत है कि वे गरीब परिवारों के बच्चों को कोई भविष्य में कोई दिक्कत न आने देने के लिए एजुकेशन रूल 134ए को खत्म करने का बदलाव कर रहे हैं।

कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि शिक्षा मंत्री व प्रदेश सरकार का यह कदम प्राइवेट स्कूल संचालकों के सामने घुटने टेकने के समान है। उनके इस कदम के लिए प्रदेश की जनता उन्हें कभी भी माफ नहीं करेगी।
