चंडीगढ़, डिजिटल डेक्स।। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ के खिलाफ धरना प्रदर्शन कर रहे खिलाड़ियों के समर्थन में आगे आए हैं। हुड्डा का कहना है कि बेहद दुर्भाग्य और शर्म की बात है कि देश का गौरव हमारे खिलाड़ियों को आज सड़कों पर धरना देना पड़ रहा है। 

Hooda said the allegations against the officials of Wrestling Federation of India are serious and worrying. “The government should take strict action against the culprits by conducting a fair and transparent investigation,” he added. 

भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ के अधिकारियों पर लगे आरोप गंभीर व चिंताजनक हैं। इनकी निष्पक्ष व पारदर्शी जांच कराकर दोषियों पर सख्त कार्रवाई करे सरकार। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि जिन खिलाड़ियों को पूरा देश पलकों पर बैठाता है। 

उन्हें भी धरने पर बैठने के लिए मजबूर किया जा रहा है। महिला पहलवानों द्वारा कुश्ती महासंघ और उसके अध्यक्ष पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए गए हैं। इसलिए बिना देरी के कुश्ती महासंघ को बर्खास्त करके सभी आरोपियों को जांच के दायरे में लाया जाए।

He said the sportspersons who bring glory to the country, are also being forced to sit on dharna. “Serious allegations have been levelled against the wrestling federation and its president by women wrestlers. The Wrestling Federation should be dissolved and all the accused should be brought under investigation,” he said.

भूपेंद्र हुड्डा ने कहा कि निश्चित तौर पर ये तमाम पहलवान देश के खिलाड़ी हैं। लेकिन प्रदेश सरकार को यह भी याद रखना चाहिए कि ज्यादातर खिलाड़ी हरियाणा से संबंधित हैं। इनके अधिकारों को संरक्षण देना और इनके हक में आवाज उठाना प्रदेश सरकार की जिम्मेदारी है। 

लेकिन इस मामले में हरियाणा सरकार की चुप्पी बेहद निराशाजनक है। यौन उत्पीड़न जैसे मामलों में हर बार प्रदेश सरकार चुप्पी साध लेती है। वह चाहे प्रदेश के खेल मंत्री के ऊपर लगे आरोप हों या फिर भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ पर लगे आरोप।

Hooda said that definitely all these wrestlers are the players of the country, but the state government should also remember that most of the players belong to Haryana. “It is the responsibility of the state government to protect the rights of the sportspersons and stand with sportspersons, but the silence of the Haryana government in this matter is very disappointing. The state government has earlier also kept silent in cases like sexual harassment, be it the allegations levelled against the Sports Minister of the state or the allegations levelled against the Wrestling Federation of India,” he said. 

हुड्डा ने मांग की है कि केंद्र सरकार को बिना देरी के खिलाड़ियों की मांग मानते हुए आगे की कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए।
